Unique Holidays in Dubai
Enjoy an enticing vacation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Where is Dubai?
Dubai is one of the seven emirates of the country known as the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Located in the Middle East on the Persian Gulf, the United Arab Emirates is
an oil-rich country that borders Oman and Saudi Arabia.
Dubai History
Dubai has long been a Middle East port city, once excelling in the trade of semi-precious stones and pearls. It was established by the British in the late 18th century to facilitate trade with India.
Though the pearl trade declined by the mid 1900s, Dubai had already discovered its rich oil reserves and soon became one of the wealthiest places on earth.
What to See
If you've considered visiting the Middle East, holidays in Dubai can give you a great taste of what life is like in the oil-rich countries located in this part of the world.
