About the Resort
The expansive Edgewater Beach Resort spans over 110 acres on Panama City Beach, offering guests more than a half-mile of pristine white sandy beaches and plenty of water for enjoying the best in Florida watersports.

As one of the Panhandle's largest condominium resorts, Edgewater provides visitors with countless amenities and activities, all wrapped up into one resort vacation.

Accommodations
Three types of accommodations are available at Edgewater Beach Resort. The high-rise Gulf Front Towers offer one to four-bedroom accommodations, ranging in size from about 900 square feet to penthouses boasting nearly 2500 square feet of space.

Most of the tower units have living and dining areas as well as fully-equipped kitchens. Balconies and patios are standard, some with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Visitors may also choose the Golf and Tennis Villas, situated in a private location near a 9-hole golf course, tennis and shuffleboard courts, and seven pristine pools. These are especially popular with extended-stay guests. These accommodations offer both condo and townhouse-style lodging and monthly rates are available.

The Windward and Leeward Suites, ranging from one to three bedrooms, are situated in two six-story buildings near the Gulf Front Towers. Features are similar to those in the larger towers.

Activities
Waterfront activities are the highlight of any stay at the Edgewater Beach Resort. Guests can choose from a variety of water-related sports including windsurfing, parasailing, and jet skiing.

A hearty pick-up game of beach volleyball is usually in progress or you can choose to just sit in the sun and soak up some rays.

The lagoon pool is certainly the highlight of the resort. At 11,000 square feet in size, this free-form pool accommodates tons of guests. Kids love the waterfalls and the "islands" in the middle of the water.

In addition, there are two heated whirlpools and daily poolside entertainment for that all-around island atmosphere.

There's a nine-hole executive golf course located on the property and Hombre Golf Club, a 27-hole course, is nearby. For tennis aficionados, there are 11 all-weather courts.

The Club at Edgewater Spa and Fitness Center features state-of-the-art exercise equipment and a spa staff that's eager to pamper guests with a relaxing massage or other invigorating spa treatment.

Local charter companies are available to organize additional activities including deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, glass-bottom boat rides, or swimming with the dolphins.

Getting There
The Panama City Airport is the closest to the resort. Currently, five major airlines service the airport including Delta and Northwest.
